This product is electrolytic chromium metal powder or granules, silver-gray with metallic luster, hard and brittle texture. The purity ranges from 99.5% to 99.95%, and particle size can be customized (common mesh: 200 mesh, 325 mesh). Chromium features high hardness, excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, good thermal and electrical conductivity. It is stable at ambient temperature, insoluble in water and nitric acid, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. It is widely used as alloy additive for metallurgy to produce stainless steel, high-temperature alloys and wear-resistant alloys. It is also applied in electroplating anti-corrosion & wear-resistant coating, thermal spray coating, powder metallurgy, 3D additive manufacturing, vacuum coating, electronic sputtering target and industrial catalyst raw materials.
