Main Uses

Benzathine benzylpenicillin is a long-acting penicillin antibiotic, which can slowly release benzylpenicillin after intramuscular injection, maintaining effective blood drug concentration for a long time. It has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and is mainly used in the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections, as well as related research fields:
  • Pharmaceutical Industry: Used as a raw material for long-acting antibacterial drugs, mainly used for the prevention of rheumatic fever recurrence, treatment of all stages of syphilis, and control of the prevalence of streptococcal infections. It is also used for the long-term preventive administration of patients with rheumatic heart disease and rheumatic fever.
