GHS Classification: Flammable Liquid (Category 2), Skin Irritation (Category 2), Eye Irritation (Category 2A)
This substance is highly flammable, and its vapor can form explosive mixtures with air. Direct contact causes skin redness and mild irritation, while splashing into eyes leads to stinging and conjunctival inflammation. Inhalation of vapor may irritate the respiratory tract, resulting in cough, dizziness and nausea. Operators must work in a well-ventilated fume hood, wearing flame-resistant gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing. Keep away from open flames, static electricity and strong oxidants. In case of skin contact, rinse with plenty of water. If eyes are exposed, flush continuously for 15 minutes and seek medical treatment. In case of fire, use dry powder or foam fire extinguishers. Store in a dedicated flammable chemical cabinet. Dispose of waste strictly in accordance with hazardous waste regulations to prevent fire hazards and environmental pollution.
