Key nitrogen heterocyclic intermediate. Widely used in synthesis of anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and cardiovascular drugs. Applied to prepare pyridazine-based pesticide fungicides and plant growth regulators. Also used in organic synthesis research and fine chemical derivative preparation.

Mild irritant with low toxicity. Dust inhalation irritates respiratory tract, keep ventilation and wear dust mask. Skin contact may cause red itching, wear protective gloves. Flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes once contacted. Ingestion causes stomach discomfort. Store away from oxidants and food. Treat waste as hazardous organic chemicals.
