    A primary application is as a synergistic flame retardant. It is commonly used alongside halogenated compounds in plastics, rubber & textiles to suppress combustion reactions and promote the formation of protective char layers, significantly improving fire resistance.

    Serves as a performance-enhancing additive that improves surface gloss, hardness & chemical durability in enamel formulations. It is also utilized in ceramic glazes to modify color and functional properties.

    Functions as a refining agent to eliminate bubbles and enhance the transparency & refractive index of glass. It is particularly valuable in producing optical & specialty glass with high clarity.
