Polystyrene-b-Polybutadiene-b-Polystyrene (SBS, CAS 9003-55-8) is a thermoplastic triblock copolymer. It appears as white or pale yellow granular solid with no peculiar odor. Combining the rigidity of polystyrene and elasticity of polybutadiene, this material features excellent toughness, flexibility, low-temperature resistance and processability. Manufactured via advanced anionic polymerization technology, it has stable molecular weight distribution and consistent batch performance. Widely used in adhesives, asphalt modification, plastic modification, footwear and polymer compounding industries. For legitimate industrial production and scientific research only.

Chemical Properties
- Chemical Stability: Stable under normal sealed, cool and dry storage conditions.
- Acid-Base Character: Neutral polymer, stable in weak acid and weak alkali environment.
- Reactivity: Inert under conventional conditions; prone to oxidation and aging under long-term strong light, high temperature and oxygen exposure.
- Thermal Stability: Starts to soften above 80 °C, decomposes gradually when temperature exceeds 280 °C.
- Incompatibility: Avoid long-term contact with strong oxidants, concentrated strong acids and high-temperature oxidative environment.

Storage & Transportation Instructions
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption, dust contamination and oxidative aging. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources and strong oxidants. Recommended storage temperature: 10 – 25 °C.
Transportation Requirements: Transport as general plastic goods. Avoid violent collision, extrusion and rain soaking. Do not transport together with strong oxidants, corrosive substances and toxic goods.
Operation Notes: Wear dust-proof gloves and protective masks during operation. Avoid inhalation of polymer dust. Keep the working environment well ventilated.
