Main Uses
- Highly selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist for prevention/treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) (acute and delayed).
- Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV).
- Longer half-life (~40 h) than other 5-HT3 antagonists; fewer side effects (headache, constipation <10%).
