Food Additive Field: As a nutritional fortifier (trace mineral supplement), it is widely used in dairy products, beverages, baked foods, meat products and infant formula foods to supplement trace element copper, which is an essential component of multiple enzymes involved in human biochemical reactions; also can be used as acidity regulator, stabilizer or chelating agent, with addition amount strictly following national food safety standards such as GB 14880.
Pharmaceutical & Health Field: Used as a pharmaceutical raw material and dietary supplement to treat copper deficiency and related diseases such as copper deficiency-induced anemia and nephrosis; can assist in the treatment of acne vulgaris, common cold, hypertension and postoperative complications, and enhance the efficacy of anticancer drugs such as disulfiram; also used as an active component in oral deodorants and feed additives.
Industrial & Chemical Field: Used as metal surface treatment agent (cleaner, passivator, electroplating bath complexing agent, corrosion inhibitor), industrial water treatment agent (pH regulator, scale inhibitor, chelating agent) to soften water quality and inhibit scale deposition; as a precursor catalyst for photo-induced polymerization of acrylates, and an intermediate for the preparation of copper-based catalysts and special materials.
