Main Uses

Fragrance Industry: High-grade raw material for daily chemical fragrances and premium perfumes, with fixing effect, suitable for floral, woody, amber, oriental and fantasy fragrances. The recommended concentration in final products: 0.005%~0.03% in soap, 0.0005%~0.003% in detergents, 0.08%~1.0% in perfumes, 0.003%~0.01% in creams and other products.
Food Industry: Recognized as GRAS by FEMA in 1965, used as an edible flavoring agent. The recommended dosage: 0.27~0.68 mg/kg in soft drinks and frozen foods, 0.5 mg/kg in oily drinks, 1.4~1.5 mg/kg in candies and baked foods.
Other Fields: Used as an organic intermediate for the synthesis of PGA-co-pentadecanolide polymers, which are applied in the development of sustained-release tablets for slightly soluble drugs; also used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetics for perfuming purposes.
