Uses
L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine is a synthetic dipeptide composed of L-alanine and L-glutamine, with excellent physiological activity and biocompatibility, widely used in pharmaceutical, nutritional, food and cosmetic fields. In pharmaceuticals, it is a key component of parenteral nutrition preparations, used to supplement glutamine for patients with catabolic and hypermetabolic conditions (such as surgery, trauma, sepsis, burns), which can protect intestinal barrier function, enhance immune function and promote tissue repair. In nutrition and food industry, it is used as a dietary supplement and food additive to improve muscle recovery, regulate intestinal flora balance, and enhance physical fitness; it can also be added to functional foods, health products and feed additives. In cosmetics, it acts as a skin conditioning agent, promoting collagen synthesis, improving skin elasticity and moisture retention, and relieving skin dryness and sensitivity. Additionally, it is used as a chemical intermediate for peptide synthesis and a reagent for biochemical research.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: Laboratory grade: 5g/25g/100g amber glass bottles with Teflon seals to prevent moisture absorption and light exposure. Industrial grade: 25kg/50kg fiber drums with double-layer PE liners, 1000kg IBC totes, labeled with "Hygroscopic", "Keep Dry" and GHS hazard information. Storage: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse at 2-8°C; keep tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption and air contamination; separate from strong acids, bases and oxidants; avoid mixing with toxic and harmful substances; shelf life 24 months under recommended conditions. Handle with gloves, goggles, and dust-proof protective clothing; use in ventilated areas to avoid dust inhalation; wash skin thoroughly after contact; if splashed into eyes, rinse with flowing water for 10-15 minutes and seek medical help; if there is a leakage, collect with clean tools and properly dispose of waste; do not ingest; store away from heat sources and open flames.
