- Appearance: White to off-white crystalline powder, odorless, tasteless, with fine and uniform particles, no obvious impurities.
- Melting Point: 319–322℃, stable at room temperature, decomposes when heated above 350℃, not easy to sublime.
- Boiling Point: 579.1℃ at 760 mmHg, decomposes slightly before boiling under normal atmospheric pressure.
- Solubility: Slightly soluble in water (≤0.1g/100mL at 25℃), soluble in ethanol (≥10g/100mL at 25℃), freely soluble in acetone, chloroform and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO); insoluble in non-polar organic solvents such as petroleum ether.
- Stability: Stable under normal storage conditions (cool, dry, dark), sensitive to light and high temperature; incompatible with strong acids, strong bases and oxidants, prone to decomposition when exposed to direct sunlight or high temperature (above 60℃).

Uses
Adapalene is a synthetic retinoid with anti-acne, anti-keratinization and anti-inflammatory activities, mainly used as a pharmaceutical raw material for the production of external preparations. It is widely applied in the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris, helping to unclog hair follicles, reduce keratinization of hair follicle openings, inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, and alleviate inflammatory lesions such as papules, pustules and comedones. In addition, it is also used in the research and development of skin care products for improving rough skin, reducing fine lines and pigmentation, and has certain applications in dermatological research and veterinary medicine (for animal skin lesions).
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: According to customer needs and industry standards, the packaging specifications are as follows: 1kg/5kg small packages (aluminum foil vacuum bags, light-proof and moisture-proof), 25kg large packages (cardboard drums lined with double-layer food-grade plastic bags, with inner aluminum foil lining for enhanced light-proof and moisture-proof performance). All packages are clearly labeled with product name, CAS number, purity, molecular formula, net weight, production date, shelf life and storage requirements. Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse with a temperature of 15–25℃, away from light, moisture, high temperature and open flames. Keep the package tightly sealed to prevent light irradiation, moisture absorption and contact with air, which may cause product discoloration or decomposition. Avoid storing together with strong acids, strong bases, oxidants and other incompatible substances. The shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions; do not use the product beyond the shelf life.
