Product Usage

This product is classic first-generation polyolefin nucleating clarifier, core additive for PP, PE, PET plastic industry complying with FDA food contact standard. Incorporated into food-grade plastic containers, disposable tableware, transparent injection-molded parts to improve resin crystallinity, eliminate cloudy haze and boost product transparency, widely used in food packaging, medical plastic consumables production. It also works as organic gelling agent & thixotropy modifier for unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, paint and cosmetic oil-phase system, thickening organic solvent systems without high-temperature curing. In fine chemical field, it serves as gel building block for low-polar organic medium thickener and cosmetic wax formulation; high-purity lab grade is applied for new-type transparent nucleator development and polymer material modification R&D. It is non-direct edible material, only permitted for indirect food-contact plastic auxiliary per global food safety regulations.

Safety Information

GHS classification: Warning with H315 skin irritation, H319 serious eye damage, H335 harmful if inhaled via fine dust, H411 toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Operators need nitrile resistant gloves, dust-proof safety goggles and particulate filter lab coat during feeding & pulverizing to avoid dust inhalation and skin/mucosa contact. Upon skin exposure, flush contaminated skin with running clean water over 15min; continuously irrigate eyes ≥15min once splashed with abundant clean water and seek medical help for persistent inflammation. Accidental oral intake in small dose only causes mild gastrointestinal discomfort; massive ingestion requires urgent symptomatic hospital treatment. All waste powder and contaminated solvent waste are classified as general industrial solid waste, must be delivered to certified hazardous waste disposal institute, strictly forbidden to discharge into river or municipal sewer. Store separately from strong mineral acid, strong alkali and peroxide oxidants to prevent acetal hydrolysis decomposition generating benzaldehyde toxic fume.
