Risk Code:R36/37/38; Safety Code:S26, S36/37/39
Low acute oral toxicity, but crystalline dust irritates skin, ocular and respiratory mucosa. Direct skin contact induces redness and itching; flush contaminated skin with abundant running water for over 15 minutes once exposed. Fine powder splashing into eyes causes stabbing pain and conjunctival hyperemia, keep continuous eye washing no less than 15 min and consult doctor for persistent discomfort. Inhalation of dust triggers dry throat and cough; all weighing and feeding operations must be conducted in ventilated fume hood equipped with nitrile gloves, dust-proof goggles and disposable dust respirator. Store separately from foodstuff, strong alkaline chemicals and strong oxidants in cool dry shaded warehouse. Waste solid and filtrate are treated as general organic hazardous waste complying with local environmental regulations, prohibited arbitrary drainage into water and soil.
