This compound has low acute toxicity with oral LD50 higher than 5000 mg/kg in rodents. Direct skin contact may lead to redness, itching and mild irritation, and long-term repeated contact may cause dry skin. Splashes into eyes will result in stinging, tearing and conjunctival inflammation. Inhalation of fine dust can irritate nasal cavity and respiratory tract, causing cough and throat discomfort. There is no evidence of carcinogenicity, mutagenicity or reproductive toxicity under standard use. Operators shall wear nitrile gloves, safety goggles and dust mask in well-ventilated areas. In case of contact, rinse skin with soap and water, and flush eyes with plenty of running water for 15 minutes. Store separately from strong oxidizing agents. Dispose of waste strictly in accordance with local chemical waste regulations.
