Application

This compound, known as Photoinitiator OMBB, is a high-efficiency UV photoinitiator widely used in low-odor UV-curing systems. It is primarily employed in food packaging UV inks, offset inks, flexographic inks, screen inks, varnishes, wood coatings, plastic coatings, and adhesives. With strong UV absorption at 254 nm, it efficiently initiates polymerization of acrylate monomers under UV light, offering fast curing speed, low odor, and good compatibility with various resins. Its low-migration property makes it suitable for food-contact materials, complying with FDA and EU food safety standards.
