This substance is highly flammable and hazardous. Its vapors can form explosive mixtures with air at room temperature, so all operations must be carried out in fully ventilated fume hoods, far away from open flames, static electricity and heat sources. Inhalation of its vapor may cause severe respiratory irritation, dizziness and even life-threatening risks. Direct skin contact will lead to irritation and dermatitis, while eye exposure results in serious mucosal damage. Operators must wear chemical goggles, nitrile gloves and protective respirators during handling. The product tends to hydrolyze violently in contact with water, releasing harmful substances, so moisture isolation is strictly required. Thermal decomposition will generate toxic fumes including silicon oxide and carbon monoxide. Store it separately from oxidants, acids and alkalis in cool and fireproof warehouses. In case of leakage, cut off all ignition sources immediately and absorb the liquid with inert sand instead of water.
