Potassium stearate is low-toxic and weakly irritating chemical substance with good safety performance. Inhalation of fine powder may cause slight dry throat and respiratory discomfort, so avoid dust generation during operation. Long-term skin contact may lead to mild dryness and rough skin, timely cleaning after contact is recommended. Eye contact will cause temporary stinging and foreign body sensation, immediately flush with plenty of clean water for more than fifteen minutes. Accidental intake of a small amount will not cause serious harm, excessive intake may induce mild nausea and abdominal discomfort. Operators shall wear ordinary protective gloves and dust-proof masks and keep working environment ventilated. Keep away from strong oxidants and acidic substances during storage and usage. It shall be stored separately from food raw materials. Waste materials can be treated as general industrial waste in accordance with relevant environmental protection regulations without serious environmental pollution risks.
