Stearyl alcohol is a long-chain saturated fatty alcohol with stable property, widely used in daily chemical, cosmetic, plastic and textile industries. It acts as emulsifier, thickener and lubricant in cream, lotion, hair care products and skin care formulations, improving product texture and moisturizing effect. In plastic industry, it serves as internal lubricant and release agent for PVC and polyolefin materials.
