Applications
Coconut oil fatty acid potassium salt is a kind of natural anionic surfactant with excellent wetting, emulsifying, foaming and decontamination performance. It has rich and fine foam, mild property and low irritation to skin. Widely used in daily chemical industry as main raw material for liquid soap, hand sanitizer, facial cleanser, shower gel and mild detergent products. It can form stable emulsifying system, suitable for preparing natural plant cleaning products and high-end mild personal care formulations.
In industrial field, it is used as emulsifier, dispersant and lubricant in textile printing and dyeing, leather degreasing, metal cleaning and pesticide emulsification. Also used as raw material for biodegradable environmental detergent, with good biodegradability and no pollution to ecological environment.
Safety Information
This product is weakly alkaline, slightly irritating to skin and mucous membranes. Long-term direct contact may cause skin dryness, tightness and mild degreasing discomfort. Eye contact will cause stinging, redness and tearing, requiring immediate rinsing with plenty of clean water. Inhalation of aerosol may irritate respiratory tract and cause throat discomfort and cough.
During operation, wear ordinary protective gloves and avoid prolonged skin contact. Work in well-ventilated environment; prevent aerosol splashing into eyes and respiratory tract. Store sealed away from strong acids, oxidants and food raw materials. Waste liquid and packaging shall be disposed in accordance with daily chemical waste regulations, and shall not be discharged directly into water bodies to avoid environmental impact.
