Raw material of metalworking fluid for cutting oil, rust preventive oil and drawing lubricant. Paper industry for sizing agent, defoamer and resin control agent. Oilfield chemical used as drilling additive, corrosion inhibitor and surfactant intermediate. Further processed into tall oil fatty acid and tall oil rosin derivatives.
