Properties: Colorless crystals, easy to deliquesce, melting point 37.5oC, decomposes at 150oC, easily soluble in water and alcohol, insoluble aqueous solution is acidic, and has strong oxidizing properties.

Uses: Mainly used in the manufacture of catalysts for organic synthesis, mordants for textile industry, oxidants, as salting-out agents when recovering nuclear fuel by solvent extraction, and used in the manufacture of other aluminum salts.
